Jason Rinker, L.Ac. MA

Since 1999, Jason Rinker has been a registered and licensed acupuncturist with the Pennsylvania State Board of Medicine. In that time, he has improved the lives of hundreds of people suffering from chronic pain, depression, injuries, and allergies—guiding them toward optimal health through acupuncture and Chinese medicine.

With a clinical focus rooted in western biological sciences, and the application of acupuncture, herbs, orthopedic massage, cupping, moxabustion, meditation, and diet therapy, Jason’s integrated treatment is customized and holistic. It encompasses all aspects of an individual’s physical and mental faculties resulting in optimal outcomes.

Jason’s interest in Chinese medicine began when his mother was undergoing cancer treatment. He witnessed how acupuncture helped offset the effects of radiation for her Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Later, he used acupuncture to get relief from severe tendonitis of the knee that resulted from hours of mountain biking. The positive results he personally witnessed and experienced led him to devote his life to helping his patients overcome physical, mental and spiritual imbalances.

Jason received a Masters degree from NW Institute of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in Seattle WA. He specialized in integrating Eastern and Western approaches to treating work, sports and orthopedic injuries. In the spring of 2007, he studied in China at Shanghai University. Currently, Jason is studying advanced Chinese medical massage in NYC with renowned martial arts expert and licensed practitioner of Chinese medicine, Tom Bisio.
