Nicholas Talamonti, D.O., is a board-certified psychiatrist and fellowship-trained integrative medicine practitioner at the Yang Institute of Integrative Medicine. Dedicated to a person-centered approach, Dr. Talamonti bridges the gap between conventional psychiatry and holistic wellness, addressing the intricate connections between the mind, body, and spirit.
Philosophy of Care
Dr. Talamonti believes that true healing requires looking beyond the management of symptoms to address the root causes of illness. His practice is rooted in the belief that mental health is inseparable from physical and metabolic health. By combining psychodynamic psychotherapy and evidence-based medication management with nutrition, stress regulation, and lifestyle optimization, he empowers his patients to achieve lasting emotional growth and a higher quality of life.
Education & Experience
Dr. Talamonti earned his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM). He completed his residency in Psychiatry at Jefferson Einstein Health, where he gained extensive experience treating diverse populations with complex psychiatric needs.
Furthering his commitment to whole-person care, Dr. Talamonti completed a specialized Fellowship in Integrative Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University. This advanced training allows him to integrate non-traditional modalities—such as functional testing, metabolic optimization, and mind-body techniques—into his clinical psychiatric practice.
