QEEG

QEEG (quantitative electroencephalogram) is an assessment of the electrical activity of the brain (brainwaves) using a multi-electrode recording device connected to a computer. The electrical activity of the brain is directly related to how we think, feel, and act.

The recorded brain waves statistically are analyzed and compared with “normative” and “non-normative” databases and turned into color maps, called “Brain Maps” that visually depict the electrical brain activity.

A brain map shows precisely how our brain affects our cognitive, executive, emotional, and behavioral responses.

It also offers insight into choosing more individualized nutrients and medications. Most importantly, QEEG guides the design of the treatment protocol of Neurofeedback and TMS.

I can not believe what I can learn from the QEEG about myself. It explains what I have been struggling with! I always feel very guilty about my feelings and behaviors that I do not have any control of. I feel relieved that I did not choose to be that way, but my brain made me! ”

It makes perfect sense to me now why I have difficulty making decisions and concentrate on my work. When I can see my brain wave acts excessively in my frontal lobe, I found an answer to my anxiety. I realize that my depression was a result of my frustration from poor executive performance in my work. The good news is that this is reversible with nutrients and neurofeedback treatments.”
