Founded in 2005, Yang Institute of Integrative Medicine is a NJ Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation Center that offers its services to those who struggle with emotional and behavioral challenges, chronic pain, as well as cognitive and executive brain dysfunctions. With a variety of practiced professionals from different disciplines, they utilize holistic care and medical technology. Combining ancient Chinese medicine and acupuncture with the highest grade of medical equipment, their mission is to identify the root causes of diseases to better design the safest, effective, non-invasive, drug-free solutions.
Yang Institute was founded by Jingduan Yang, M.D. in 2004. Dr Yang is a 5th generation Chinese medicine and acupuncture doctor as well as a board certified psychiatrist. He has dedicated his life and work to providing the best mental health care to those in need. During formative years as an advocate, his education consisted of a variety of medical institutes in both China and the western world. As a NJ Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation Center, it is associated with University of Arizona, Tao Clinic of Acupuncture, and AICA.
It was during this time that he noticed how the differences in Chinese and Western medical practices often contradicted one another, yet also complimented one another. Seeing how different ideas of approaching medicine can be gelled together, Yang founded the Yang Institute of Integrative medicine.
A practice that the institute uses is TMS therapy. TMS, or, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation is a non-invasive set of therapeutic sessions that targets pulsed stimulation from a mild magnetic field to modulate the natural function of the brain’s neurotransmitters. It is FDA -approved and has helped numerous people who deal with the hardship of major depressive disorders after other methods have failed or become intolerant.
