Alene Bender Herman is a Board Certified OB/GYN Nurse Practitioner specializing in women’s and adolescent health and integrative medicine.
She has over twenty years of clinical experience in successfully helping people with chronic infections, metabolic syndrome, infertility, pelvic pain, menstrual disorders, stress, and autoimmune diseases, employing mind-body medicine, functional medicine, nutritional and botanical medicine, and lifestyle coaching.
Alene graduated from the prestigious integrative medicine fellowship program at the Andrew Weil Center of Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona. She was a faculty member of the University of Pennsylvania and Thomas Jefferson University.
Alene joined Yang Institute in 2022 and brought her expertise to help diagnose and treat mental and brain health problems caused by inflammation, infection, gut dysfunction, food and chemical sensitivity, hormonal imbalance, and environmental toxicity.
